Gohar Rasheed an impressive and versatile actor, Model and a radio representative. He was conceived in Lahore on 2nd May 1984 and is a grandson of famous Islamic scholar Ghulam Ahmed Perwez.

Gohar Rasheed got his initial school instruction from GC University, Lahore. He got his college degree with majors in theatre, film, TV, and minors in journalism from Beaconhouse National University. He further on did his graduation in amusement media from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore.

Gohar after completing his education has been a part of the showbiz industry of Pakistan since 2007 and has been seen playing different roles on-screen roles mostly negative which are tricky to pull off. Over a short course of time, he has made the viewers fall in love with his impressive acting skills and unique role, it’s common for people to adore the hero but when people adore a villain it a fact that he must genuinely be good at it.

Gohar is one of the few Pakistani celebrities who properly studied acting and theatre before establishing a career in it. Gohar started his career with a debut in the theatre with a project named ‘Bombay Dreams’ directed and produced by well-known theatre personality Shah Sharabeel in 2008, In that play, Gohar played an Indian character of Vikram.

After the success of that, he got more roles and recognition. his first major role in the theatrical musical play was the play of ‘Moulin Rouge’ where the excelling star played a role of The Duke of Monmouth, his skills and performance in the drama was worth the watch and motivated Gohar to keep moving forward. In 2013 he got the chance to work in a political play by Anwar Maqsood and Dawar Mehmood. Furthermore, he also plays Iftekhar in comical play Half Plate for Anwar and Dawar back in 2014.

After the theatre, it was time to fly higher. Rasheed found an acting career, his first role was as a supporting character along within the drama Daddy. But Later on, Gohar works in multiple projects to maintain experience, his drama serial ‘Shikwa’ became the purpose behind his upraising fame. Lucky with opportunities, Gohar then plays Shaukt in Hum TV’s blockbuster serial ‘Digest Writer’ which one of the most successful dramas of that time. Later on, he did a few more serials named Goyaa, Khuda Na Karay, and Nazdeekiyan. However, after much praise from Digest Writer Gohar signed three dramas of ARY Digital (Bismil, Aitraz and Paiwand) In 2016, Gohar left all speechless with his performance, when he appeared in Mann Mayal as Meekail, thought his role was negative and the person he played was highly insensitive and heartless, he still received a lot of popularity and appreciation for his role.”

After the small screen then Gohar marked his ground in the small screen, his first film debut was in the film ‘Main Hoon Shahid Afridi’ then the movie Seedlings, both the movies were lucky for him as they earned him enormous benefits and recognition for him, his acting abilities received a highly positive response.

He is also expected to star in Aamir Mohiuddin’s upcoming Film Rangreza alongside Sana Javed and Bilal Ashraf where Gohar will play the role of a dholak player.
